How did millions of animals fit inside the Garden of Eden, and how did Adam have time to name them?

There are countless types of animals on earth. How did they all live in the Garden of Eden? How did penguins, kaola bears, bengal tigers, giraffes, polar bears, etc. all live in the same climate? Many animals can only live in the rainforests of South America. Did the Garden have special artic zones, tropical zones, and arid zones? How else can one explain Genesis 2:18-22? djfj: It would take 12 days, around the clock simply to count to a million. Coming up with unique names would take much longer than that.

  1. Cause its all a bunch of bull. Religion is a limitation people try to put on God. Have a nice day
  2. Adam had all the time in the world. Genesis 3 verse 23, and the tree of life. Their may have been possibly one large land mass way back then before the flood. your question is rubbbish. x
  3. because its a fairy-tale lol tell me how 2 of all the animals fitted on the ark and where fed everyday : )
  4. Have discernment over what is spirit and what is flesh. read, study and pray and the understanding will come to you
  5. a) Calling it a garden is misleading to our cultural understanding of the word. In the Bible, the Garden of Eden had no boundaries, and we don't know how big it was (it was washed away in the Flood). But we do know that there were four rivers flowing through it; based on that alone, we know it was significantly bigger than the "garden" depicted in most paintings etc. b) we don't know how long it took Adam to name the animals. Some theologians suggest six months. c) good question about the different climate needs for the animals. I've actually never heard that question posed, and I have no idea what the answer is! d) I'm not sure what your question is about Gen 2:18-22. Are you asking how God could have formed Eve from Adam's rib? That's another unanswerable question, just as we don't know how He formed Adam in the first place, we don't know how He then made Eve.
  6. Three points. One is that we do not have the dimensions of this Garden of Eden - it may have been as large as some countries. Secondly, in that time within the DNA of one species would be the variety of all the different variations within that kind we see today. While today we have 165 known types of owls with in the species, only one owl pair was present in Eden and would contain all the genetic code to produce variety. The third point, is that at the creation there were no climate diversity within the animal kingdom, such diversity would have begun after the fall of mankind. 'Survival of the fittest' (does not mean evolution, because we are talking about a reduction of genetic information) would have produced the climate diversity, within the animal kingdom, we see today.
  7. Earth is the garden
