How do I blow up balloon animals?

I bought a bag of long balloons, the kind you need to twist into balloon animals but I can't blow up these things. Is there a trick to getting them to inflate? Also, if anyone knows any sites with instructions on how to twist the balloon into animals, please let me know... Thanks.

2. You need a special pump and I know that I had a difficult time making the shapes, but if you get a little kit it comes with the balloons, the pump and a few basic shapes. My husband was good at it, but I couldn't get the them to stick when I twisted them.
3. you have to stretch them A LOT. if u still cant do it, u mite need a pump. dont feel bad, some proffesionals even use pumps.

7. At Party City, for about $5, you can get a hand held balloon inflater. It is particularly good for inflating this type of balloon. For instructions do a search for 'free balloon animal instructions'. Many, many sites come up.
8. you need to stretch it a lot if you actually want to blow it up, but then it's a lot easier with a pump
