Where can I find a company to donate or recycle pillows and kids stuffed animals?

We are redoing several rooms in our house and as I was cleaning my room I decided to get rid of some stuffed animals and pillows that wont match the new paint and theme of the room, but I thought it such a waste and a shame to just throw them away mindlesly when they could be donated to some one who needs them or recycled? Any one know of a place? Thanks!

3. I belong to a dog rescue group and it is really easy to make dog beds with old pillows. Sew material (cheap or already on hand) into a square; inside out with a gap large enough to stuff the pillow stuffing into, then sew up the hole. For a dog who had lived in a cage (puppy mill) or a dog who raced to make his owner money (greyhounds) this is the BEST! A soft bed! Bless you for thinking about something like this. 5. I saw your posting. I have a great place you can donate items. I always donate to "My sister's House" in Rocky Mount. It's a local agency funded by grants and they survive on a limited budget. It is a center for domestic violence victims and their families. They are located in Nashville, NC. They would love to have some donated items. Please give them a call.
