Where can I find knitting patterns for stuffed animals?
I love to knit stuffed animals especially bears and rodents. I would like to find one for a gerbil.

- I don't know if they have a gerbil, but I've seen some stuffed animals on http://www.lionbrand.com You could also try http://www.freepatterns.com or look through pattern books at your local library. And there's always google... that's usually how I find the patterns I'm looking for...
- I didn't see gerbils anywhere but this book has hedgehogs and piglets: http://www.amazon.com/Knitted-Animals-Education-Anne-dorthe-Grigaff/dp/1903458684/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-7683173-7704647?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1183267280&sr=8-1 You can check out the "catnip mouse" and "pocket pet mouse" free patterns at www.lionbrand.com also. Do try google searches for "knit pattern bear" or "knit pattern stuffed animal" etc. There is a lot of stuff out there! Have fun.
- craft stores like hobby lobby hope this helps! BYE!!
- There are a couple of different sources- Debbie Bliss had a knitted toys book with terrific bears & rats. Fibertrends has patterns for squirrels and hedgehogs- but I don't recall having seen a gerbil. Good luck!
