Are Shih Tzu puppies allowed on planes?
I'm moving to Canada in a few months from the Philippines, but I'm not sure if my Shih Tzu can come along.

- They are as long as the carrier can fit under the seat or in cargo.
- only if they're dead
- Each airline has it's own set of rules. You may be able to have him in the cabin with you, but I'd suggest, if this is going to be a long flight, he's probably going to be better in the specially made hold. Don't sorry, provided he's not very young (I'd not fly a puppy of much under 5 months personally) he should be fine. Talk to the airline involved. Airlines will accept most breeds, although some can be difficult with a short-nosed dog like the Bulldog, or Pug.
- have to ask
