Why isn't Greyhound Racing listed as a sport ?

I've noticed when i want to find dog racing results I have to search for a track not sports?

1. Because Greyhound Racing is two steps ahead of Harness Racing and four in front of Thoroughbred Racing in the dash to oblivion.
2. Just numbers. Media panders to numbers=money!
3. Because its not recognised as a 'sport' by various governments. Greyhound racing is purely and simply a gambling industry.
