Why do people like breyer horses so much?

Im not hating, I was just wondering why people spend hundreds of dollars on these figurines and equipment for them? Again, Im not hating, Im just wondering what is so fascinating about them?

Maybe they can't afford a real horse? Hahah idk
When i was little i would always "haul" my breyers over to my friends house and we would play with are horses and riders for hours. I was always jelous that she had this beautiful breyer barn. That being said ive moved on to real horses lol. I think its the same with a lot of things like barbies, why do people play with and collect barbies? They are beautiful model horses, and its just a fun thing to collect them or play with them when your young. Its also a great gift to pass on to your horse loving children if you have any.
Some people enjoy collecting them. After I added up how much they cost in all, I stopped buying-but I enjoy them and have them on display in my room. Each to their own, whatever floats your boat (no pun intended) and all that jazz.
Probably beacuse they like real horses. The same reason if you like cars you buy car decor & things for your room. The same reason little kids buy barbies. The same reason that i have a horse. Because they Like them.
(almost) everybody collects something, a lot of people collect these toy horses. (some people play golf, some have fish tanks, some have bottle caps, etc.) Good luck!
