Does a Rocking R brand affect the value of Breyer horses?

I am planning to buy a vintage Breyer horse, and I have found two versions of the same one, one with the "Rocking R" brand on the left shoulder, and one without. Does anyone know the significance of the brand, and how it affects the value of the horse (if it does)? Thanks!

1. The brand was probably painted or etched on by the owner, which would mean a decrease in collectibility value. There were no Breyers made with that type of brand.
