How do they know that the endangered animals are low?
Do they count all the animals to see if the endangered animals has increased or decreased??

- Sadly, environmental science isn't an 'exact' science. what they do is rely on reports from people that work in the area: rangers and environemntal field scientists who look for signs of animals, and yes, in some populations, they actually identify individuals with radio colors, or keep files of individuals that live in their area of study. On some, we have very precise numbers. Others we have to guess at based on signs they leave behind: feces, tree marks, prey left behind and other signs of their having been there.
