How to say something nicely about a girls crazy horse?

There is a girl and she is really nice and she always wants to stand by me before barrel racing but her horse like spins in circles and tries to side pass and back into me and my horse. This makes my horse nervous and he tries to spin in circles like her horse. Once her horse started rearing and my horse got nervous and squished my leg in a fence my horse never acts like this when we are alone. I want to tell this girl nicely that if we continue to be by each other than someone is going to get hurt. How do i ?????????

  1. Something like... "Wow, it seems your horse has great potential, perhaps a trainer or lunging your horse prior to racing will help him.her focus".
  2. Well if you're determined to be really nice about it, just lie and say that your horse has "issues" with other horses being too close and that you need that time to be alone. Or make up some other excuse. Or you could just be upfront and address the issue. Tell her flat out, because this kind of behavior does need to be addressed and it does need to stop. Tell her plain and simple, "your horse puts me and my horse in danger. And I can't continue to allow my horse to be near your horse and put all four of us at risk for serious injury or even worse."
  3. your horse is very nice but i think its a bit too energetic
  4. I would just say something like "my horse is a bit on edge can you please keep your distance"
  5. This is what I would say if I were you, "My horse is really nervous and acts up when around your horse, I don't want anyone to get hurt. So we can't have our horses with each other, but we can still hang out" I hope this helped =P
  6. Just be like im sorry but can you please move your horse its making my horse very nervous and i dont want him to hurt your horse.
  7. If it were me I would just flat out tell her to back off and stay away if her horse is dingy. I don't let people stand by me that horses are hot and dingy as I don't want to chance my horse getting hurt. My horses come first before my friends at this point. It is either be to shy and don't want to step on toes and get your horse hurt or say something and keep your horse safe, calm, and have a good run.
  8. Just open your mouth and come out with it. Plain words will do. This is really typical of barrel horses at the starting gate. Just be honest and tell her. As usual, the owners typically can't see the problem. I guess it's the spinning.
  9. What drives me nuts is girls who think they know everything they're doing and they know it all and do it better than everyone but can't even make a horse turn right without clutching the saddle horn and screaming at the horse. This girl just sounds like she can't keep her horse under control. To put it nicely.... be like...."Hey you're horse is always making mine act up by spinning in circles, rearing etc.(whatever else it does sometimes), Could you please keep it under control or if he's just to ampe, try to keep it away from mine so no one gets hurt? Nothing against you, I just value my life lol" In barrel racing horses often get amped and excited and it's near impossible to keep them totally calm, but she CAN at least take respect of your horse acting up and keep it away lol
  10. Ouch,I do barrels and well I have been backed into, hit pushed and much more all by horses standing next to me before going into the arena. And it might just be the horse. I have to admit I have backed into a few people too. But it is not you, barrel horses tend to be a little on the crazy/stupid side, not all but most. I have a friend that is my best friend who has the stupidest barrel horse and he will hurt anyone in his path, so I will just either walk away or say "hey take your horse somewhere else" remember she is my closest friend. Just handle it how you think it would be best to. Best of luck :)
  11. I would tell her very nicely, that when her horse acts like that it makes your horse nervous and you would appreciate it if she wouldnt come by you before races so you can keep you and your horse focused. If she doesnt comply shes being rude and might be doing it on purpose to get your horse worked up. If she keeps doing it, tell her a little less nicely to leave you alone, that you under no circmstances want her horse around when its going crazy because its dangerous and you dont appreciate her putting you and your horse at risk.
