Tips on moving across country with two cats and two dogs?

What is the best way to move with four animals? Two cats and two puppies....Have you done this? Was there anything you didn't think you'd need for them but did need? How can the cats use bathroom on a 3 day road trip? Should I fly the animals and myself and ship my stuff? No need to be rude. I asked for some tips....it was different than my other question

1. Drive or ship them. If you're old enough to live on your own you should be able to figure this one out without multiple questions to YA.
2. I would say it's easier to travel with cats since they are usually put into crates but most of them will not stop meowing during the trip. Most people traveling with dogs allow them to roam freely in the car but it's probably better to put them into crates, too, because dogs can jump around, distract the driver, get car sick, and have accidents on the seats or the floor. Since you're traveling with that many animals, I would suggest flying them to your destination because it will be easier on you. You can arrange to have your personal items shipped to you while you travel with your pets. Good luck on your trip.
