Ticking on coat patterns of bengal cats?
What do they mean by "ticking ' being bad or not ticking being good on patterns of coats on bengal cats ?

- Ticking refers to the banded hairs that help make up the tabby pattern on ANY tabby cat. I know on the Ocicat, the "ticking" is developed more as they age and some of the spotting will tend to "fade" out and blend. You notice this more on the spine lines and down the sides of the cat. If the cats spotting is not strong, then ticking can fade out what spots are there.
