Why has my cat paused in giving birth?

She's giving birth and I can see the kitten coming out, is this normal for cats? My cat keeps on licking the kitten which is coming out. Yeah thanks javier B, all the kittens died now. The cat had an infection.

2. Well unless the vet does a emergency c-section, yes it is normal for kittens to come out. I mean if they don't then Momma cat could die.
