- Rainforest: Jaguars Jungle: tigers
- This is a good site. It features many of the animals of the rain forest.
- I used to live in Panama and have been to the jungle and rainforest. Rainforest animals are mostly brightly colored birds such as toucans and parrots. Howler monkeys and sometimes jaguars inhabit the rainforest. The jungle is a bit more dense and is like a large rainforest in a way. In Panama the main jungle is the Darien Jungle. Another animal you may encounter in the rainforest would be a sloth. This is the slow moving tree dwelling mammal that hangs from tree branches. In other continents such as Africa and India you would have larger animals such as tigers and even giraffes. India even has bears that inhabit the jungle. Overall, the rainforest would be inhabitable by the same animals as the jungle in most cases. Just keep in mind the jungle is more dense and nothing more than a larger version of a rainforest.
- About a trillion different species. If you think I'm going to list them all, think again.
