Can you wash stuffed animals in the washing machine?

My daughter loves her stuffed animals and two of them smell bad. Can I put them in the washing machine without them getting ruined? Thanks in advance!

5. Perhaps put them in a pillowcase and rubberband it closed. Don't overcrowd them. Mild detergent, no bleach, softener optional. Let it air dry Good luck
6. Sure, but don't use hot water and try the gentle cycle. Use a bra bag too if you are worried. Alternatively, could be fun to make it a play activity and you can give "Teddy" a bath. Make it a fun special thing your daughter can help with and then you could just pop them in the machine at the end for a spin. :D
