Mean girls who ride horses?
Im almost 17 years old and have been riding atthis barn since i was 14. At first i loved it out there, so many people to ride with. Now, everyone is back stabbing and mean. Girls I have been friends with for years have done some really mean things to me. It got so bad I took a vaca to california for a few weeks. but it followed me and they harassed me on facebook until my brother gave them a friendly phone call to back off. Not trying to play victim here, but why are some girls who ride SO mean? I can't take it anymore, I'm usually pretty strong and don't take BS but i've just been sad lately and dread having to go back home. I don't know what to do, move barns or just stay and stick it out. But how can I enjoy my horses when these girls are snickering behind me? the ring leader of this group is the niece. with their relationship i wont get taken seriously the ring leader of this group is the niece. with their relationship i wont get taken seriously

- Because most are from rich families and don't give a sh*t about other peoples feelings, so long as they are the best and can afford the best Now I'm not saying that all riders are like this, but from my experience at Bicton College it happens You can tell the instructor that your being tormented by these girls and he/she will give them a warning or if it deteriorates further, ban them!
- You have to be tough to ride and they are probably just jealous of you. if they don't stop tell the owner of someone who is the main person at the barn. if they continue just say to them how you feel and if that doesn't work switch barns it isn't worth it. hope this helps!
- Girls in their teens can be mean when they gang together, they'll grow out of it eventually, but in the mean time forget all about them and the friends you once were, you deserve better friends. Have a look around some different barns and if you find one you like move there and make new nicer friends. I get the whole sticking it out thing and if that's what will make you come out stronger then speak to the barn owners or managers, they need to know what's going on. These girls are bullying you no doubt because they are jealous of you. It's nothing to do with riding, except I've found girls from wealthy families worse, but its just adolescent behavior, some never grow out of it at all lol. Good luck x
- You wanna know why? Because people are stupid and the only way to gain some self pride is to gang up on others. Pretty low. You need to get up in their face and stand up for yourself. Don't be afraid, people like that are like those blow fishes in the ocean.....the puff up real big to look like their somethin but let all that air out and their smaller than anything.
- I presume you heard about Phoebe Prince... She started out with great friends when she moved schools, from Ireland to America. Then one minute, they started annoying her, next minute calling her Irish slut and banging her against lockers. She couldn't even put up with it , so she hung herself. she was found in her house by her younger sister. Can you imagine coming home and finding your brother dead, hanging? Nothing could be worse, and you would never get the image out of your head no matter what. Don't let them w h o r e bags get you down anymore. If they do anything tell them how it is, and ask your instructor to keep an eye on you and if she could talk to them. It's not fair how s*rewd up biotchs like that get away with it, just because they haave issues . Please tell someone. Tell your parents and ask them to have a word with the ring leader at least . Good Luck x Annmarie <3 xoxo
- Not all people who ride are like this, but a lot of girls who ride at stables are rich and extremely stuck-up. They don't give a s**t about the horses they own and ride, or the people they ride with during lessons and competitions. Delete them off of Facebook and ignore the rude comments they throw your way. Be calm and confident, shoot a dazzling smile their way, and kill them with kindness.
- It's not just riders that are mean--it can be anybody. I would just ignore them or tell the barn owner. If it gets really bad and their barn owner won't do anything, then maybe switch barns.
