What is spiritual significance of worshiping trees,animals,pictures of mutant creatures and stones?

1. It's fun. I offer a daily sacrifice to a fingerpainting of Cookie Monster than I bought at a garage sale.
2. Yeah... I saw pictures and sculptures of Gods with many hands, and many heads... I WONDER!!!
