where can i get cheap golden retriever puppies in the uk? or even for free if possible?

I really want a puppy and my mum says we can get one if I can find one.

1. I understand that you are excited to find a puppy, but I would avoid any puppy's that are advertised 'cheap'. If the puppy is cheap, it is unlikely that the parents have had any health testing and you could end up with a dog that has many health problems. In the end, the vet fee's alone will surpass the cost of buying a well bred puppy. Have a look on www.champdogs.co.uk . Many of the puppies advertised on there are kennel club registered and health checked. If you cannot afford the cost, I would suggest doing some more research, save up a little and then put a deposit down with a good breeder. Especially if you are looking for a Golden Retriever puppy. We have had many 'cheaply' bought Retrievers come through our training classes lately with all sorts of hip and joint problems due to bad breeding. So please do find a good breeder and pay the price for a good puppy to save any heartache.
