3. It might be easier to answer if you state what Country you're from... I'm in Australia and yes I have 2 cats and a dog. I know people in the US that have a dog, I know people in the UK that have a cat and a dog, I know a few people in Mexico with dogs, I know people in Thailand with dogs, however there are also a lot of stray dogs.
