will a taser stop two pitbull dogs from fighting?

if i have two adult male pitbull dogs (intact) that are fighting, will a taser or stun gun stop them safely?

1. Yes it will stop their heart and they will stop fighting. Unfortunately they will be dead.

Well if it doesn't kill them, it will make them sick and hate humans. hurting a dog makes them more aggressive or will make them scared and shy. the best way to stop it is to get them fixed then keep them near each other get mad and yell if they start showing teeth or makes sounds. This takes time. but they will learn it is wrong and does not please you when they fight.
4. How powerful? A Taser C2 is recommended to stop a medium to large charging dog & recommended to stop dog fights. But you are talking about 2 American Pit Bull Terriers? It is according to the individual dog(s). How intense their aggression is. And you have to factor in they have a very high tolerance for pain. My opinion? 2 highly aggressive APBTs with extreme fight drive would require something a bit more powerful. I suggest you have at least one break stick. And good luck breaking it up by yourself. Add: Hmmm.....okay. I watched a video where a *Pit* had attached itself to it's owner's arm. For over 30 minutes the owner & friends hit the dog in the head with everything including a brick. The police were called. The dog was still attached to the owner's arm after one shot from from a semi-automatic to it's side. Then a second shot. The THIRD shot finally got the dog to release and then died. No one should ever under-estimate the power of an American Pit Bull Terrier. Think about a breed of dog which is leanly muscled in body build but can pull tons? And a bean bag shotgun won't do it either.
5. It will stop them fighting for sure. It might stop their hearts beating while you're at it too. Good luck. You will need it.

8. You obviously need to have your dogs neutered and then find them new homes because you are not a good pet owner if you are willing to use a taser. In my opinion, you sound like a dog fighter, and you need counseling.

10. This site has a couple of inexpensive alternatives to a stun gun or taser for stopping dogs from fighting one another or even attacking. I think an electronic sound device or specially formulated spray would be the preferred method.
11. A semi automatic combat 12 gauge loaded with bean bag cartridges would be more effective.
