1. Sharks are an important part of our environment. If there were no sharks, the fish would overpopulate and kill the reef, causing the fish to die. this means we can't eat fish anymore :( Also, Sharks are the only known species that are resistant against cancer. 2. Every creature on the planet contributes to the ecosystem. All are interdependent on one another. Have you never heard of a food web or a food chain. One species disappearance affects all the others.
