Can anyone give me some examples of rainforest animals?

My daughter needs examples of unique animals in the rainforest that hopefully will be different than others in the class. I guess to weed out the obvious ones. thanks if you can help

  9. Are you looking for the Amazon rain forest or any rain forest? Specific to the amazon you will find jaguars, golden lion tamarins (a type of monkey), sloths, tapirs, a variety of other "new world" monkeys, piranhas, amazon river dolphins, and macaws. If you are willing to expand to African and Asian rain forests, you can add chimpanzees, orangutans, gorillas, bearded pigs, lemurs of all types, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, and okapis. That's just a few, but I tried to give you some of the more obscure ones.
