How long after my pit bull has puppies will she go in heat?

Had puppies almost 7 or 8 months ago. When is the next time she will have a heat cycle?

1. Dunno. I'll phone my local vet and ask them,then come back and post the answer up.
2. They normally have two heat cycles a year. Having a litter with prolong the female from coming in as soon as normal, but she should be in the next month or so. It's a bad idea to breed a dog every time she comes into heat.
3. she should have already had one. actually, you should have already spayed her. reputable "pit bull" breeders have registered AmStaffs or APBTs. Not "pit bulls". Pit bulls are the backyard bred bullies that are pts in shelters by the hundreds each week. No need to make more of those.
4. you should not breed her agein, get her fixed. If you refuse to be responsible, then at least waite a year or so before breeding agein. You will kill her and have very unhelth pups if you breed every cycle.
5. Never because you will call the vet and have her spayed now.
6. Twice a year. Are you sure its been 7-8 months? She should have come in again already. When the pups were about 4 months old.

8. depends on how often she typically cycles if she cycles every 6 months, then she should have cycled 6 months after her last cycle (having pups make no difference on the cycle) if you had her spayed, she wont cycle
