How to take pictures of animals without it being cliche?
I want to take pictures of my two dogs, but I don't want it to be the same old cliche pictures of dogs doing something kind of cute. I want to take interesting PHOTGRAPHY of my dogs, not just semi cute pictures of them. Thanks.

- I applaud your inquisitive nature, this is how you learn. First, don't shoot downwards but get eye level. Don't crop off important parts like half ears, etc.. Pet portraits are like people portraits, they can be formal or informal but lighting is important as is the use of the right lens. Do not get close with a wide angle, but stay back and zoom in with the lens for better facial compression.
