Do you think your dogs and cats look at you as being their god?

I ask this because, without us, most pets would die fairly quick.

  1. no, animals dont think about things in the same way as humans do.
  2. They look at us as fellow animals who happen to be smart enough to obtain the things they need to live, and are willing to share them. They don't look at us as fictional characters from ancient mythology with magical powers. Because even dogs and cats are smart enough to know that those things don't exist.
  3. The only pets I have are fish, so, even if they did think that I was their god, they would think that for about 5 seconds, then they'd forget about it.
  4. well my cat looks at me as her slave and my dog maybe...
  5. I am my dogs best friend.
  6. Ceiling Cat sure doesn't, because He is my God.
  7. No, Pets have alternate food from nature, Cat can eat a lizard and Dog can eat a wild rabbit
  8. I think my cat does and he's plotting to eat me after I die.
  9. who gave you to eat gave the cat to eat : The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving. (44) even cats praise , every thing praises but we don't hear it.
  10. no they look at us as hairless apes or really big dogs and cats that speak with a funny accent. now that my snark is done time for my real answer. we are pack mates and alphas plain and simple. if there were no humans then there would be no pets since that is a human concept and the animals would do just fine in the wild. after all domestic animals started as feral animals and feral animals have been doing fine for thousands of years.
  11. yes, they must.
