What is the best method to interact two small dogs?

I have two small dogs a male and female I just got the female and I want to find a way to interact the two. The male is aggressive(crazy) he would try to attack her. What would be the best way to do this. Thanks.

1. Leave them alone and let them do what they want. Male will be jealous
2. by interact i am assuming you mean be friendly with one another and not breeding ... to get them to be friendly with each other you need to take them on long walks together ... walks where you keep walking with one at each side on plain short leashes and collars, and not allow them to come in contact with each other ... when you have walked so far you can barely walk more turn around and come home but allow them to sniff each other and meander a bit ... walking them together regularly in a focused way will help them get along ... and the male (should be neutered) should be corrected for attacking the other dog, and corrected aggressively so he knows that what he is doing is really wrong ...
