there is a lovely wee bulldog on sale from ph26 3hy. bit wary as they want to send the dog by courier also they want me to pay the courier the full price of the dog not sure why i am weary something just doesn't ring true??? help????

SCAM!! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!
It is a known scam. Google Cameroon puppy scams and you'll see loads on it. There is NO DOUBT about this... do not even think about it.
Well the post code is for Golf Course Road, Granton on Spey which i guess is a bit out of the way. But you are of course right, warning bells ring very loudly indeed, not so much that it is a Nigerian type Scam but more because you would be buying a pig in a poke. Assuming it exists and they own it and can sell it, you would have to pay the carrier for a puppy you had not seen and which could be seriously ill or seriously faulted, deformed, bad configuration, half blind, half deaf etc etc. If you are interested enough in having a bulldog puppy then you will be prepared to travel so tell them that you will make the journey up to see them and if the puppy is healthy and as it should be you will pay them for it on collection from them. If they are dodgy there will be a number of reasons given why that cannot be agreed to. I have never heard of anyone selling a puppy sight unseen with delivery by a carrier* (most carriers will not carry live animals anyway) with payment in full to the carrier. Very weird. Be very very careful. Bulldog puppies do not come cheap so there is quite a lot of money at risk here.
SCAM - there is no dog - there are pictures of a puppy stolen off some legitimate breeder's site. They want you to send money to a fake courier -- some fake website the scammers set up - and never send you anything. And you can't get your money back as they gave you a fake name, address, etc Tell them that you will not ship any puppy because it's cruel and will just come up to get the bulldog yourself and pay them in cash
