- Does it have a penis?
- i'm sorry but seriously... see if it has a ding dong.
- Boy horse=Stallion Girl horse=Mare baby boy=Colt baby girl=Filly
- Baby horses in general: foals Boy foals: colts Girl foals: fillies Stallion: un-fixed male horse 3 years or older Gelding: fixed male horse Mare: female horse 3 years or older (mares can be fixed, but it is very hard and dangerous) Hope this helps!
- Stallion: a male horse with testicles (penis with balls) Gelding: a male horse without testicles (penis with no balls) Mare: Female (you won't see a penis) Foal: a baby horse under the age of 4 Colt: male horse under the age of 4 (again will see a penis) Filly: female horse under the age of 4 (again no penis) Add: Savanna Christensen you might want to recheck your info. Telling the difference between a gelding and a stallion is not difficult, it is quite easy, one has testicles one doesn't. It can be easily seen. A female is not called a mare until 4 years old same goes for a colt. Also a mares teats do not become very noticeable until after she has a foal. If she has never been bred then one might have troubles seeing it unless they are laying on the ground looking or are under the horse.
- unisex name for baby horse = foal male baby horse = colt female baby horse = filly adult male horse = stallion adult male horse that is castrated = gelding adult female horse = mare You can tell a horse's gender by looking under their tails or between their legs, it's pretty obvious. Vagina = female. Penis = male. No balls = gelding. ;D
- It's nearly impossible to tell the difference between a gelding (neutered male) and a stallion (not neutered male). A baby horse is called a foal. Females under the age of 1 year are called filly's. Males under the age of 1 year are called colts. Females 1 year and older are mares. Males 1 year and older are stallions. To tell the difference between a Stallion and a Mare you just kinda gotta look between the hind legs. Mares will have a very small udder. Stallions and Geldings will have.... well you know. What all males have.
- Foal: a horse that is under 4 years old (refers to either gender). Colt: a boy horse that is under 4 years old. Filly: a girl horse that is under 4 years old. Mare: a girl horse that is 4 years old or older. Gelding: a boy horse that can be any age. Geldings have been gelded (cannot make babies and have no testicles). Stallion: a boy horse that is 4 years or older. Stallions CAN make babies.
- Stallion-Male horse over 4 years that has not been Gelded (fixed) Gelding-Male horse over 4 that years HAS been Gelded Mare-Female horse over 4 years Foal-Baby horse (male or female) Colt-Male horse under the age of 4 Filly-Female horse under the age of 4 Yearling-One year old or in the year of 2
- Girl= mare baby= foal baby girl= filly baby boy= Colt boy with balls= stallion or stud boy without balls= Gelding
- okay, lol i'm sorry for people who didn't understand what you meant... like you phrased your question wrong.... as if you asking how to tell a difference between a girl and a guy lol xD i don't think they read your description like some of us did haha but anyways back to your question!! Gelding- A male horse that is castrated.(fixed/cannot breed) Stallion- A male horse Mare- Female Horse Filly- Female horse under 4 years old Colt- Male horse under 4 years old Foal- Male or female horses under 4 years old Some people will also call their one-year-olds Yearlings too. Or if its a male he would be a Yearling Colt or if Female she would be a Yearling Filly (;
- dude, look underneath and see if it has a penis=boy , no penis = girl
- It simple u can tell if its a boy or girl by whats there, baby horses are foal baby boys are colt baby girls are fillys a horse thats a year old is called a yearling colt or filly theres also a weanling when you wean them from there mothers a adult girl is called a mare and adult boy are called stallion unless cut or fixed also is called castrated.
- here is the horse lingo: Filly: a female horse under 4 years old Mare: a female horse over 4 years old Colt: a male horse under 4 years old Stallion: a un gelding(the vet snips the testes off) male horse over 4 years old Gelding: a gelded horse over 4 years old, but techically a colt could be gelded at age 1 and still be a colt. hope this helps ♥
- If it has a penis. It's a guy. Mare=Adult female Stallion=Uncastrated Male horse Gelding=Castrated Male horse Filly=Young female horse Colt=Young male horse
- http://www.ichregistry.com/images/mddb_undertail.jpg Mare http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_61_6onk_lb0/Rh_SN4sjIRI/AAAAAAAAABo/RAvGLl-HeZc/s200/MH,+Sherman+Sheath.jpg Male horse (Gelding/Stallion- the one pictured is a gelding as he has no testicles) Here are the genders: Mare- female horse Gelding- Gelded/infertile male horse. cannot be bred. Stallion- Breedable, ungelded male horse. Colt- Young male horse (under 4) Filly- Young female horse (under 4) As for ages: Foal- young horse under 1 year Yearling- 1 year old Then from 2-3 it is either colt or filly depending on gender. I hope you dont own a horse
- Baby horses in general: Foals Baby girl: Filly Baby boy: Colt Male horse 3 years or older: Stallion Male horse 3 years or older without junk: Gelding Female horse 3 years and older: Mare Some one year old horses will be referred to as "yearling's". Hope I helped! :D
- Well a foal girl is a filly and a full grown one is a Mare. a foal boy Stallion or Gelding is called colts. A stallion will have a penis and balls a gelding will just have a penis.
- Its pretty obvious, just look between their legs. Name wise: A mare is a older female. A filly is a young female. A gelding is a fixed male. a stallion is a unfixed male. A Colt is a younger male
- If it is a boy...it has a thingy (a boy part) if it is a girl...it doesnt.
