what color were thease great race horses? be exact.?

i was just woundering what color(cant think of a better word) thease racehorses coats be exact like chestnut with 3 white socks a star and a strip i was just wondering War Admiral Whirlawaye and Count Fleet

1. War Admiral was a dark bay, I don't believe he had any markings. Count Fleet was bay, Whirlaway was chestnut (and had a really long tail)
