- Depends on which groups has them registered. If it's the AKC check their website. If it's another group, check their website.
- google pure bred pit bulls and see how much they cost. Also if you have a pets for sale in your news paper that's a good way to find out how much people are charging. Make sure people know how to raise pit bulls before selling them. My friend had one that knew me and liked me and when it was 9 months old it was sounding at me and getting ready to charge me when I came out of her bathroom.
- Papers are worthless. It is just the registration #. It says nothing about the quality of the dogs. Pet quality dogs are a dime a dozen, especially pits. BYBers have ruined the breed & there are but a very small hand full that are worthy of breeding. You don't need papers. You need to get both dogs spayed & neutered. The same for Labs, Poodles, shepherds (any kind), spaniels (any kind) BYBers do not test prior to breeding so the quality of these pups are just pet quality & no papers are needed.
- ELAINE: PB's are NOT recognized by AKC. Only some irresponsible backyard breeder has to ask a question like this. You aren't going to get anymore than what the going rate is at your shelter, so why bother with the papers? Have your dogs spayed/neutered. Millions of dogs are euthanized in shelters each year because of people like you.
- Please do not breed any more dogs. WE ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH ADORABLE DOGS ALREADY !!!! Please spay and neuter. We have a dog overpopulation CRISIS in USA right now, and most other countries as well. SIX MILLION DOGS are put to death each year, (that is 17,000 dogs EACH DAY) being killed for lack of available homes/humans for alllllllllllllllllll these millions of dogs. Each litter you create, will, in turn, create 100s of more dogs in only a few generations. Can you guarantee alllllllllll those dogs a home? Have you lined up humans with appropriate homes for puppies prior to breeding? Have you considered what you will do with leftover puppies? ARe you willing to 'take back' any puppy returned for any reason whatsoever, to ensure none of your litter will end up in the dog pound? Have you properly researched her family tree, and the studs family tree, to ensure you are not passing on the INCREDIBLE AMOUNT of inherited diseases so so so so so rampant among purebreds????? SPAY AND NEUTER!!! Every dog you create competes with THESE dogs http://www.petfinder.com/index.html for the available humans. Now put your zip code in HERE: http://www.petfinder.com/index.html AND GO FIND your next best friend.
- You should already know the cost of litter registration and where to look. Since you don't mention if the papers are UKC or ADBA or some POS junk registry why ask us? Each charges differently.
- You have purebred pitbull puppies? I doubt it. PITBULL is not a breed, it is a term to describe ten + breeds. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a breed and is registrable by the UKC, ABDA and ABKC. Go to their sites and see if your backyard dogs are good enough to sell and over populate the earth.
- it depends on what registry the parents are registered with. go to their website and find out.
