Is it possible to access a dog racing track in the UK?

I would like to take my Lurcher for a run on a proper racing track, I live in South East England, and I was just wondering if there are any accessible places, that you don't need special licenses etc for. Does anybody know anything about this? Thank you in advance :D

1. I can't give you names of tracks specifically but I do know that the people in Afghans, and Whippets regular race their hounds. Why don't you try contacting the Afghan Breed Club, or one of the Whippet Breed Clubs, and see if they can help you I'd love to race my Whippet, but the nearest track down her in the SW is really too far
