Does chihuahua puppies just need their rabies shots?

My uncle just brought 2 chihuahua puppies home and their 1 month old. His friend, the person that gave it to him, told him that they only need rabies shots. Is his friend right? If not what else do they need. How much does each rabies shots cost?

1. They have a set of shots they have to get from the vet you also need to give them de-worming medication.

4. No, they need DHLPP - likely the whole series (which is three separate shots) as well as rabies, though rabies cannot be given until around three months old. They will also need to be de-wormed. On another note the pups are WAY too young to be away from mom. One month is around four weeks - barely even weaned and certainly not socialized. Crummy BYBer took advantage..... in some areas it's ILLEGAL to sell or give away pups under eight weeks. Your uncle needs to get in contact with a vet in regards to feeding and shots. NOW. Not on Monday, but NOW. The pups will likely need supplements, and WILL need full separation from the outside world until they get their shots.
5. First of all, you shouldn't have a puppy that young. It's incredibly cruel, illegal, and will cause you much frustration when training. If at all possible, give the puppies back for another 4-6 weeks. As for your question about vaccinations, ALL dogs need the following shots: Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Borditello. Your vet will give them a series of these shots over the next month or 2. The cost depends on the vet, so call around and get some prices!
6. They need their rabies shots at six months old. Only a month old? That's awfully young to already be away from their mum. They will need their shots- a set of four to protect them for parvo and other nasty virius. They cost around sixteen dollars at my vet.

8. they have to have all their shots. ALL meaning Parvo distemper. those are 3 sets. very inexpensive. rabies once at 6 months old.
