How old should puppies be when separated from parents?

I want this Chawawa puppy and the owner said it's one month old, Is this a good age to separate it from its mum? I hear puppies needs their mum till a longer time.

4. 4 weeks is WAY to young. The smaller the breed the more it needs its mom and siblings. I would not take any puppy before 8 weeks but 12 weeks is the best age.
5. There are critical growth periods in the infant lives of puppies that require them to remain with their mothers until 10 -12 weeks of age. Puppies that are pulled from their mothers too early suffer socialization issues, emotional problems, and generalized health problems. They are more difficult to train, they are anxious and can become lethargic or aggressive. They often don't eat right, and demonstrate other quirks that pose serious questions by their unaware owners. While some think that such infants are cute and cuddly -- as in fact they are -- they do not realize they are doing severe harm to underage puppies when they are taken from their mothers.

10. Pups should NEVER leave their mothers until they are 8 weeks old! This is an AKC rule, and a law in some places. Pups get immunity through the mothers milk. The longer they stay with mom the better. My dachshund nursed her pups til they were 10 weeks old. I was also feeding them moistened puppy food.

12. Small dogs like this should IMHO not leave home till they are at least 10-12 weeks old and better at 12 weeks. If this breeder wants to let you have a pup at 4 weeks do not buy you are just asking for trouble find a better breeder.
13. One month is far too young. You should wait until the dog is at least two months, or even three months for a small dog like a Chihuahua.
14. in my area it is ok to let them go at 7 weeks or older Younger is illegal however chihuahuas should be with mom until 8-10 weeks and a few longer the pup should be totally eating hard food on it's own the pup should have been wormed at 2,4,6,8 and 10 weeks old then monthly wormings the pup should get first vaccine at 6 weeks old ( 10,14 weeks for 7in 1) and at 16 weeks rabies if this is a breeder there should be a health guarantee and the pup should have been to the vets with a vet certificate stating pup is healthy and ready to go to new home
15. Puppies should be with their mothers until they are at least 8 weeks old. 8-10 weeks is the ideal range for a puppy to leave its mother and quickly get attached to a human.
16. Small breed dogs like a chihuahua need to be with the mother for at least 10-12 weeks. Larger breed dogs should be with the mother until at least 8 weeks. If anyone wants to sell or give you a dog before those ages, run, don't walk away. In fact, I don't know where you live, but in the US, many states have enacted laws that you can not sell a puppy younger than 8 weeks of age. The puppy should be fully weaned from its mother and have its first shots. Never buy a puppy from a store or off the internet, or from someone who doesn't provide registration papers and a health guarantee.
