  1. nah brah
  2. I wouldn't let her eat near where they've salted sidewalks and drives and such, but beyond that, sure. It's just water.
  3. Nope. Let them eat all they want. Unless the snow is old and dirty and not white anymore.
  4. It's fine
  5. If you think about it, snow is just frozen water so it really isn't a bad substance for them to eat. Sometimes if they eat too much it can make them throw-up because it is too cold for their stomach to handle but it doesn't do any harm. Don't worry bout it and let your dog enjoy what it loves!
  6. Its ok, it's only frozen water, avoid yellow snow
  7. My does, but she lose her baseball in the snow.
  8. 'Sky Ends; They just can't resist it, can they? LOL! One of mine in particular can't wait to snaffle a bit of virgin snow. I think they do it for the fun, rather than feeling thirsty or anything. Probably makes an interesting effect in their mouths. Either way, it certainly does them no harm.
  9. Well it's just frozen water so as far as is it healthy-it's fine. But if your dog will be outside for a long time I would try to discourage them from it because survival 101 says to not eat snow in the cold because it drops your body temp. So if they'll be out for too long I wouldn't allow them but if they're just out playing for like an hour it'll be fine. and cute! lol
  10. It's just as bad for dogs to eat snow as it is for humans! It's just cold water- your dog is probably just excited to be around a new habitat. It's fine for them.. just if they eat to much, you'll probably have to take them out in the middle of the night! Basically, let them enjoy it; it isn't everyday a dog can eat snow!! :D p.s.- keep them away from yellow, brown, etc... you might be able to tell, but a dog can't!!
  11. No. My Dobermann b*tch derives great enjoyment from pushing her muzzle through snow, grabbing a mouthful, tossing it the air then attempting to catch some. Always makes me smile & worth the cold toes!
