How can u get fleas out of stuffed animals?

We got fleas and we think they might be in my daughter's stuffed animals and someone said that if fleas get in stuffed animals you have to get rid of them. She has had most of the animals since she was 1-3 and does not want to get rid of them. Please give me optional solutions!

  1. Use the dryer. Or use this answer. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080806201913AAmFGra
  2. wash them in the hottest bleach water you can possibly get or put them in a garbage bag and if you have a deep freezer put them in there for 48 hours safest way without using sprays or powders
  3. Put them in the freezer. Works great for lice, too.
  4. Put them in a plastic bag, tie and put them in the freezer for two weeks.
  5. My mom put mine in a trash bag until the fleas sufficated... maybe that will work?
  6. Just wash them in the washing machine using cat flea shampoo, don't worry it smells nice and is safe, this is what i have always done and it always works,it kills the fleas and even the eggs before the get a chance to hatch, no need to throw them out at all, they can be saved i have kept lots of old stuffed animals from years ago and have had pets getting fleas on them but a normal wash in the machine with the cat flea shampoo does the trick, all mine are saved! so try this and hang out to dry as normal and the stuffed animals will be flea free!
  7. We always used the dryer! Or you can put them in a garbage back for a week...that kills them. Or i think you can even buy a spray at your local pet store
