  1. yes puppies have baby teeth like humans :)
  2. yes, it is normal for puppys to loose their teeth, when my puppy grew we was finiding little shards and pin teeth all over the house! it just so their adult teeth can start growing she may also have a little ache in her mouth preventing her from eating i suggest you speak to your vet about what you can feed her
  3. ALL puppies loose their puppy teeth. Same as people loosing our baby teeth. Her adult teeth will come in soon.
  4. it is normal for ALL puppies to lose their puppy teeth. at right around 5 months
  5. Puppies have baby teeth just like humans and they do come out when their adult teeth come in. Her gums are probably sore. Try putting one of her favorite rubber toys in the freezer, when she chews on it it might give her some relief. I used to have Shih Tzu and he was my best buddy.
  6. Yes, it is completely normal. Puppies lose their teeth at around that age. After all the puppy teeth (Called "milk teeth") are out, the adult teeth will grow in their old place. It is nothing to worry about. She is probably not eating well because of the discomfort her teeth are causing her. She should ate least eat SOMETHING during the day. If she is still eating a bit, she should be fine. Another thing you can do for her to help ease the pain is to buy her some chew toys. Chewing on harder stuff will help relieve the pain and will speed up this process.
  7. All puppies lose their teeth in the first 3 months of their lives. Nothing to worry about.
  8. It's normal for all mammals to loose their deciduous (milk) teeth. Ö
  9. Her gums are probably a little tender, just like a teething baby. Try tying an old washcloth into knots at both ends, wet it and freeze it. Give it to the puppy, it will satisfy the urge to chew and the cold will help her gums. Take it away once it thaws so she doesn't pull threads out of it. You can add a little water to her dry food so it's not so painful for her to eat. It shouldn't last long, a day or two, until her gums toughen up. Puppies go through growth spurts where they don't eat as much (next month you'll be asking why she eats so much!). And yes their teeth start getting pushed out by the adult teeth around 4-5 months. Sometimes they have both sets of canines (the long fangs) and it looks WICKED! but they eventually fall out or the vet will simply pull them when she goes in to get spayed. Usually at no charge so her teeth will be healthy.
