Cross Breeds

Hey, can you answer this? People say that my dog, Snow, is a Japanese Spitz. But she clearly looks like a Germ?

She has brown parts (at her fur) in her 2 ears and a part of her tail. Is this normal? Do you think she`s a cross-breed? If she is, then a breed of what? :( Her picture; http://seenly.com/UlVpBxy.jpg Another one; http://seenly.com/UgVsCPF.jpg Full body; http://seenly.com/UJVfCiP.jpg Her ears; http://seenly.com/UvVoCti.jpg Close-up. :3; http://seenly.com/UQVGCCq.jpg **It was supposed to be this; But she clearly looks like a German Spitz to me. She is currently 4 months old but she does not look fluffy. Is this normal? Oh, and one more question, How do you differentiate German Spitz and Japanese Spitz? (About the question. It was cut)

  1. I think you are right, German Spitz are usually bigger than Japanese Spitz
  2. I think she looks like a German spitz, Also she is still young, her adult fur hasnt come in yet, it probably wont until shes atleast a year or so
  3. I think it's a German Spitz. The Japanese Spitz won't have any other color on them except for white. I have seen a white German Spitz with a little color around the ears just like yours, but it was smaller than my Japanese Spitz. Then again my JS is a bit oversize. Unless you know what you're looking for, it's hard to tell some of the Spitz breeds apart. I would say that the Japanese Spitz is pure white with black eyes and black nose, has a fox-like face that smiles like their ancestor Samoyed's. My understanding is that the German Spitz spawned breeds such as the Pomeranian and the American Eskimo, so they will have more of a "teddy bear" face and vary in coloring. Their fur also look and feel different, but you have to compare in person to really be able to tell. PS. I got my Japanese Spitz at 3 months old and he was already fluffy. The adult coat grows in at around 9 months old and they become really fluffy then.
