Exactly what teeth do pit bull puppies lose?

I tried doing some personal research on what teeth pit puppies lose but I didn't have much luck. I understand they aren't suppose to lose EVERY tooth, but which ones are they suppose to lose exactly? My pit turned 4 months yesterday on the 23 of Sep. and he's lost 3 incisors so far.

  1. The front ones, the canines, and the very back molars. The ones between the canines and molars come out as adult teeth. All puppies are the same in which teeth they lose, so it might help if you weren't so breed specific.
  2. Not sure on pits, but other breeds lose every single tooth. They have to so the new ones can push out. I think it is the same with all pups. I have a boxer getting her new teeth now, I keep finding baby teeth all over the house. She is 5 months now and I do believe all of her "new" teeth are replacing the primaries. Good luck, maybe a vet would know for sure with a free phone call?
  3. Pits are no different than any other dog breed. They will shed ALL milk/baby teeth.
  4. All of them.
  5. Just like human children, puppies lose ALL their milk teeth gradually over a period of time and they are replaced by their permanent teeth. They generally have their full set of adult teeth by 9 months of age or so, and most owners don't notice many of them falling out because it's common for them to be swallowed.
  6. No matter what type of dog it is, they loose all of them to get a full mouth of 42 adult teeth. (if you're lucky)
  7. All of the "baby teeth" , just like any other dog.
