  1. It's NOT any breed, its a cross, therefore its susceptible to all the health problems both these breeds have. If you want to know about potential health problems, you'll need to look up the health problems of both breeds. As to temperament, again, who can guess? People who deliberately breed mutts are generally just trying to make some quick money. They don't do any health testing to their breeding stock and they don't care whether or not they have good temperaments. Take a careful look at the temperaments of both parents, especially the mother, for some indication of what the puppies will be like - that's provided they get proper socializing and training right from the beginning.
  2. your guess would be as good as anybodies you have to look at mother and father for health problems they could inherit take to vet as soon as you get it both high prey breeds, so you will need to train and supervise all interactions with cats same with kids they need to be trained how to treat dog and the dog will need to be trained how to treat kids. good luck
  3. 7 weeks is too young to take it from its mother and litter mates. If the parents were health certified then one of the things they would have been tested for is genetic disease. If the parents weren't tested, then I wouldn't get any of the puppies since things like hip dysplasia is genetic. Any dog with that problem should never be bred. If the parents had no professional health testing done prior to breeding (hips & elbows, eyes, heart, thyroid, DNA, temperament, STD's), then I wouldn't get a puppy from that litter. If the parents were too young to breed (under the age of two since you can't do health testing before that), then I wouldn't get a puppy from that litter. You can't predict what you'll get when neither parent is health tested. You can put any puppy into a house with cats if you're willing to train it, socialize it, and exercise it, as well as correct it every time it behaves inappropriately with your cats.
  4. As both rottweilers and GSD's have problems with hips then I wouldn't touch one of these puppies unless both parents had been hip scored and also g.parents and more. As someone has allowed these two breeds to cross and is therefore not a reputable breeder at all then I highly doubt they have been done. You could be lucky - but you are likely to be spending thousands on vet bills if things go wrong. A badly bred rottie or GSD has umpteen problems which I see on a daily basis through rottie rescue. Added together with a dog that also has hip and spinal (neurological) problems then I would be careful. As for whether it will be good with kids and cats, then most pups brought up around either are absolutely fine. Pure rotties are one of the most tolerant breeds brought up around children.
  5. large dogs are known for hip displazia being a mix many of the other health issues you won't find the only way to know for sure you are getting a healthy pup is get one that has been to the vets at 7 weeks old it should have gotten it's 1st puppy shot and been wormed at least 2 times
  6. Get to know the parent dogs. That will give you a good idea about what your potential puppy will be like. As for kids and cats, both breeds are family dogs (I have a rottie x that is excellent with kids!) and it really depends greatly on the socialization the breeder and you provide.
