What types of dogs would you consider?

So we are looking at getting a new puppy and were just wondering what types of dogs get along with a pekingnese breed?? oh and we want a small house dog if this helps too! all answers are appreciated, thanks! :)

2. Well, basically it's just how the dog's personality is. So any dog (for you a small one), with a sociable personality with your dog can be fit around your house. =) Good luck!
3. Any small dogs r loyal, playful breads. But personilly I sagest the Maltese,Shit-zu,Yorkie, Toy poodle ect. So if u would like to look at any that would be a great choice!
4. There is no right answer to that question! There will always be exceptions to any breed suggested, since, even within breeds, dogs are individuals. Look at how social your dog is (has he/she been around other dogs?) If your peke isn't social, getting a young puppy could be a problem. How old is your dog; older dogs often have a harder time adapting to the antics of a bouncy puppy. How active or laid back your dog is will have an impact too; go for a pup a little less active than your peke. When you find a pup or young dog that you think is a good match, arrange a meet and greet, preferably with a knowledgeable trainer in tow, and see how things go. Set rules that both dogs must follow, and don't allow the pup to endlessly pester your peke.
