- andes
- the FURminator, its amazing, check out the video's on Youtube =] Its what they use at Petco =] Best of luck!!
- Wahl or Oster.
- Andis or Oster are usually the best & lower cost for a quality clipper. You are not going to find a decent set under $100 though unless you buy used pair. Grooming is expensive. You will need also to buy blades for different lengths as the blade that comes with clippers is for shaving bare like poodle faces/feet & coolant for the blades. Then there are the items like scissors, nail clippers, hemostats etc for a proper grooming which must be done also or else you will end up spending much more at vet. Try looking on petedge.com for the good prices & selection - this is where many groomers buy their equipment.
- Either Oster or Andes however with the blades that you need to properly groom a dog you are looking at a minimum of $175.00 plus
- Andies sells a real nice clippers for lighter/pet owner use. Probably not a clippers you would want to use one dog after the other but for one dog groom it will work well. This one is priced in your range and includes everything you would need to start including 3 different sized blades (alone would cost you $60) Find someone/somewhere that sharpens clipper blades and eventually order a couple more for when you are sending yours off. I included the link. My girlfriend bought this clippers to do her small dog. I used it the very first time to show her how to groom her dog and I was pleasantly surprised!
