1. That is a very general question with an infinite number of possible answers. You first need to specify which animals. Then identify their niches and adaptations. A major obstacle in doing so is that we know so little of rainforest ecology and they are disappearing so rapidly. We cannot possibly learn all there is to know about the rainforest before it disappears. "Nature is not just more complicated than we think. It is more complicated than we CAN think."
