In oblivion what character should i play as. anything but the fag cats lol?

1. I prefer the people that can summon from the start then you can make that one of your main attributes and just cast the spells over and over and not only get some kick ass monster but I got to level 23 in like a day but that's just, e all depends on how you like to kill people.
2. It depends on what kind of character you want. Redguards, Orcs, and Nords are great melee fighters. High Elves and Bretons are for spellcasters. Wood Elves, Argonians, and Khajiit are geared more towards the Stealth skills. Imperials have good people skills and fair combat abilities, while Dark Elves can be geared as a versatile warrior.
3. I love the Night Elves. They're very versatile. They can be molded into equal parts of warrior and mage, which is pretty much the most badass character you can create. AND, fire doesn't damage them which comes in handy when you actually go to Oblivion. Best of luck to you my friend, and game on!
4. i always pick Argonian race because they can breathe under water immune to poison and can never be a vampire
