Horses For Sale in CA?

I'm having trouble finding good horses for sale...My budget is $3000, but that needs to include a vet check, trailering, and probably a new saddle. So like a $2000 or less horse is needed. I want to do barrels/roping/drill team, so I also need a fast horse thats a gelding or a nON marish mare under 8yrs old so it won't break like my friends horse. It will be boarded in a paddock and overly pampered xP If anyone can help me in my search, thank you... ;) Thank you, so I've now scoured horsetopia, dreamhorse, and equinenow.com.... Many of them have classified ads for horses, along with their farm equipment, cattle, etc You can also try local horse sales at a sale barn in your area. But do buyer beware at auction sales. You can also do internet or phonebook searches for horse ranches in your area. Most of them sell mainly sell their foal crop each year in the fall, but some do deal with finished trained horses as well.
