Have you heard about the new dog cross-breeds?

They crossed a Collie and a Lhasa Apso. The new breed is a Collapso, a dog that folds up for easy transport. They crossed a Pekingese and a Lhasa Apso. The new breed is Peekasso, an abstract dog. They crossed a Bloodhound and a Labrador. The new breed is a Blabador, a dog that barks incessantly. They crossed a Malamute and a Pointer. The new breed is a Moot Point, owned by....oh, well, it doesn't really matter. They crossed a Collie and a Malamute. The new breed is a Commute, a dog that travels to work. They crossed a Bull Terrier and a ShihTzu. The new breed is a uhh, I'll get back to you on that..... *had to share! lol* legit: how much food (cups) does your dog eat a day and what breed is it? My aussie get 2 cups (1 at breakfast, 1 for dinner plus some chicken jerky with each meal and sometimes some other kind of doggie treat during the day.) Collapso and Blabador are my favorites lol!

Hahahah that is too funny. Legit: My mom free feeds... Ew. I'm doing research into how much to feed my pup when I get her. She's a Chihuahua and will be coming home when she's old enough.

I remember reading this 3 years or so ago on this site. I laughed at 'Collapso', too. Mine are all fed Canidae. My Setter, 3 1/2 cups My Border Collie mix, 1 3/4 cups My ... whatever he is, 1 1/4 cup I go by the weight/age guidelines on the bag but feed just slightly less than recommended. All my dogs are in excellent body condition, so I guess I'm doing it right, and my vet concurs.
These are GREAT! I emailed it to myself so I can forward it to all my dog loving friends. I give my pug about a 1/2 pound of raw meat/fish/fowl in the morning with Vit E, calcium, Vit D and fish oil. Then in the evening I free feed him Blue Buffalo kibble. He usually eats about a cup of that or sometimes doesn't eat any of it. He gets A LOT of exercise, is VERY fit and not overweight. Many people tell me they have never seen a pug in such good shape and his vet thinks he is a marvel when I tell him he self-regulates when it comes to his food. He had never heard of a pug that would do that. Most of them look like ticks ,with a little head and big body, from being overfed! If he ever starts getting fat, I will regulate his food supply.
LOL I love the Collapso! That is going to be a big hit with all the teenager girls. They just love to carry dogs around in their purses!
I saw a Pug/Lab mix at the shelter this summer, I wanted him. But he didn't get along with cats --- so no go. The dog I'm getting is a corgi, and i guess it's 1 cup at mature weight.

cute :) my cresteds get a cup a day and the boxer gets 3 cups, these are split between 2 meals. And the amount varies depending on the calories in what I am feeding.

Heh... you forgot the Pointer crossed with an Irish Setter, the... Pointsetter, the perfect dog at Christmas time. Thanks for the morning giggle. Forgot the legit: Nick, Gordon Setter: 2.5 cups + 1/3 can Kharma, Gordon Setter: 2 cups + 1/3 can Dixie, Doberman Pinscher: 2.5 cups + 1.3 can Cricket, Papillon: 1/4 cup + tablespoon canned Bunny, Papillon: 1/4 cup + Tablespoon canned They all also get treats throughout the day.
