Cross Breeds

Cross breed dogs and how to treat them?

I want to know how a cross breed dog of alsatian and a usual indian dog will look like.

  1. Mutt/mongrels are NEVER predictable for ANY trait. Mutts require the same training vetting management as any/every dog
  2. Like a mixture of the two parents generally, though it could inherit different more things from one breed than the other. IS it a rescue, or are you breeding it? If you were mixing and Alsatian with some type of indian sight hound , i could maybe see it having some use. If not, then please only mix breeds if its to work it. If You are adopting it though, all the best, and good luck:)
  3. With mutts you never know because there is no standard on size, color, temperament or anything else. You just treat them as any other dog - train well, neuter/spay by 6 months old and feed a good diet and have normal vet care (shots, worming, etc).
  4. there are plenty german shepherds cross , wild reds down in goa , a GSD x wild red is a beautiful looking dog , but as it part wild it can be a little , unpredictable , being a large dog it could be a danger to a village , cows , and generally all wildlife . i have seen a pack of " goan " semi wild dogs attacking a cow in chapora " high street " all the way to vagatore. i guess the dogs eventually won . remember a semiwild dog will never be domesticated will live out side , and will pick its own owner , it will probably kills pigs , and any other prey item it choses
