What is a LEGIT site that has puppies/dogs for sale?

I keep finding nothing but scam sites, hopefully you know of a real one? What the fuck. I am no animal abuser, if anything im an animal rescuer!

1. No. If they are selling over the internet, it is a scam.
2. None, check the shelter or if you are looking for a purebred dog check your breeds association (ex. Shetland Sheepdog Association of America) and get a list of reputable breeders from them.
3. You`d have to find one locally, a local breeder who has a website will allow you to go see the puppies. Any website that's far away cant be inspected and cant be trusted. Your best bet would probably be to check your local classifieds. All of your local breeders will advertise there when they have a litter ready or almost ready.

Please just check local animal shelters/rescue organisations first - there are so many puppies and dogs desperately needing good homes, rather than financing irresponsible breeders - we have just re-homed 2 young dogs and they're fab!! If you are determined to own a specific breed that you cannot find at a shelter or breed rescue, then at least find a respected & recognised breeder to make sure the dogs & puppies are treated as they should be and the dog you're buying is free of genetic/degenerative health problems.
