German Shepherd puppies for sale in Brisbane?

Im looking to buy a German Shepherd puppy within the next few months to accompany my Jack Russell. Should i buy the puppy from a breeder or from a private seller or pet shop? Any personal experiences or recommended shops or breeders would be appreciated.

1. go to a shelter.
2. Contact the GSD breed club in Brisbane for a list of reputable, registered breeders. If you can't find the GSD club contact the ANKC and they will give you the information. GSD's can have a number of serious hereditary health issues so better to buy from a registered breeder who has current health certificates for the sire and dam. Don't buy from a back yard breeder if you want a healthy dog. Never buy a puppy from a pet store. They source their pups from puppy farmers and buying from a pet store is supporting puppy farmers.
3. NEVER a pet shop or outlet. They usually come from puppy mills, and you dont know disease history or problems it could have from inbreeding (breeding mom/son, dad/daughter.) It makes out for many sickly problems. A breeder is the best choice, just do your research.
4. NEVER buy a dog from a pet store. Always use a rescue or reputable breeder.
5. ADOPT PLEASE
