Why do Golden Retriever puppies like babies?

I sometimes see Golden Retriever puppies being all excited and happy to be around babies or little children. Why is that?

1. -Because They "Sound"- just like THEY Do !! :)
2. Any breed will act that way if raised properly, my friends American Pit Bull Terrier will rub on crying kids like a cat, and loves babies and small kids god knows she wants to play with them but she is very good about controlling herself and being gentle.
3. Golden Retrievers are family dog's. They are breed to be protectors and loyal to their humans. Simply they are just smart dogs!
4. Golden Retrievers are great family dogs and love people. Children have high pitched voices. Ever notice how when you reward a dog or are playing with him/her you tend to use a high pitched voice it causes him/her to become wiggly and hyper?
5. I have yet to see a dog that didn't like babies. Old Rottie mix we had adored them. Goldens are especially sweet dogs, too, and thus it will show more. Dogs are great, in most cases, with kids. The mean ones are almost always trained to be that way, though breeding can be a factor.
