I was sitting at home watching TV and in between commercials there was a pause and it was kinda quiet for a sec. All the sudden I heard what I thought was a burp. It was only me, and I know I didn't do it! And NO! It didn't come out of the other end! I know what you guys are thinking! Anyways, my cat was on the couch with me. My cat was the only thing that could have done that. Weird?! So I looked at him and he looked a little guilty. I had my camera phone, what do you think? Aww that is the funniest picture, made me laugh out loud!!!! Too cute!! I live with 3 cats and a dog and yes they all burp but none of them have the manners your little fellow has and cover their mouth! My one cat Jesse even gets the hiccups every once in awhile that's funny, he lays there and his stomach jumps every few moments. But I love that picture and thanks for the laugh!!

absolutely! When a cat burps it is simply gas leaving their bodies. Gorging food quickly may cause a cat to swallow air. Extra gas escapes from the stomach, travels up the esophagus and comes out the mouth. It doesn't usually leave slowly. Gas can quickly escape which is when you will hear them burp. i hope this helped lol

When I pick up my kitten he does a burp every now and again, and looks wildly surprised at this noise that seems to have come from ihside him, it's hilarious.
